I spent the majority of my adult life overweight, overstressed, depressed, and overall unhealthy. I had tried many times from many different mindframes to lose weight and was unsuccessful until I got to the point of pain where I was about to take my own life despite being married and having small children. At that point, it was take my life or take my life back. I chose to take my life back and cut sugar from my nutrition strategy. I immediately saw drastic positive effects on my mood, energy, and sleep. I went on a 15 month journey to loving myself and engaging in consistent self-care. I did the work to achieve an emotional weight loss of 103 pounds.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition from the University of North Dakota. I've been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Behavior Change Specialist, ACE Certified Nutrition Specialist, and ACE Certified Lifestyle & Weight Management Specialist.
