Bio: Pascal is an international entrepreneur from Luxembourg who spent 20 years abroad, notably in the USA, before rediscovering his home country with the eyes of an "expat" when returning amid the pandemic turmoil. Pascal started his career in finance, soon shifting his focus towards entrepreneurship with the launch and promotion of the Luxembourg maritime registry for megayachts (he literally had to convince the minister in charge at age 25), which led him to Monaco. To manage these complex vessels, he later moved to California and developed a "tangible asset management" platform in the cloud. Both experiences taught him the art of storytelling as he sought to convince initially reluctant audiences. That's when he fell into the world of startups and discovered "evangelism" made in Silicon Valley. He went on to New York to set up a writers' room within the entertainment industry, besides some real estate activities. Back in Luxembourg in 2020, after one year in public service, he dived back into the private business and startup sector, focusing on sharing and serving others. Today, he is faculty in several executive education and MBA programs in Luxembourg and abroad, an author, and an inspiring keynote speaker. He also carries an initiative he calls the HUB to support students, startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and SMEs in Luxembourg, seeking to have a positive impact and help the nascent local startup scene grow.
Work: Pascal's business development and strategy background, and the resulting passion for authentic communication, inspiring leadership, and disruptive thinking, have forged his unique views on how individuals, corporations, and communities could exchange and communicate in more meaningful and authentic ways. He has always been committed to applying and sharing his skills with an impact, to serve teams and their well-being, sustainable business growth, and ultimately enhance mutual understanding and natural integration of communities. He does so under his own "Pascalogy" brand, publishing and speaking to inspire others through his nature and craft of connecting.
I am currently finalizing a book about strategic communication, derived from an MBA class I am giving, which will be released after this summer. Therein, I argue that engaging communication, both inward (talent engagement, leadership, culture) and outward (business strategy & development, storytelling, PR), requires authenticity and that authenticity is when there is an alignment between what we do (mission, value proposition) and what we believe and tell (purpose, vision). I put this into a historical and future (exponential) perspective and use notably the latest findings in neuroscience to show how our brains are geared in this perspective.
This is my first book. The exciting aspect is that I will get to speak with two bestselling authors who will kindly join me on a tour we call "3M of Strategic Communication" in November in several European cities. Attached is a short presentation, just in case all this might be of interest. Either way, it tells more about me as it is about topics I care about genuinely.
