Hello, Swim Discovery, family. Welcome to the podcast, that equips parents around the world to help their children discover how to swim for themselves. This week, we are answering the question, what is the best way to keep your toddler safe around the water this week, Jim and Jeff will break down a study that is oversaturated the learn to swim community. This study claims that having your kids in swimming lessons can reduce their risk of drowning by up to 88%. Are you ready? Let’s jump in here, Jeff and Jim Wood.

We are your hosts, Jim wood and Jeff Wood and parents. If you have a three-year-old or. Any new swimmer. This episode is extremely impactful because we’re going to be diving in today and answering and unpacking the question, which is what do we have to do to keep our three-year-old safe in and around the water.
And as we get into this episode, only a couple of things out upfront to make sure that our audience knows. What we’re really clear on number one, we’re going to talk about things that might sound a little bit controversial relative to what maybe other swim schools or other swimming information or their swimming programs how they talk about it.
And so we want to lay out the reality that number one, we are. Anti swimming lessons, the information we’re going to get into Mike sound like that initially. But the idea here is that we want to set you guys up as parents with the right information so that you can keep your kids completely safe or as safe as possible.
And we think in order to do that, we have to start to actually talk about the data and the information and some of the studies that a lot of swim schools. Present that push parents towards their swimming lessons. All right. We are super excited to dive into this episode today. If you didn’t get a chance last week, we talked about the two year old age group and can they actually learn how to swim?
