Professor Yang-Hui He joins Anna from STEMM Global at the Royal Institution to discuss his STEMM career journey. He describes the fascinating, multinational pathway that brought him to his current position, and gives his advice to the next generation of scientists looking to progress in academia.
Prof. He is a Fellow of the London Institute, Professor of Mathematics at City, University of London, Tutor in Mathematics at Merton College, Oxford, and Chang-Jiang Chair of Physics at Nankai University, China. He works at the interface of string theory, algebraic and combinatorial geometry, and machine learning.
