In this episode we continue our discussion on JFK and the Vietnam War. We review Kennedy's culpability in escalating the conflict, and his thoughts in 1963 regarding when and how to end the war. We discuss the significance of his plan to withdraw one thousand military personnel, and what his likely actions would have been had he lived. We question what plans had been made by others regarding Vietnam prior to Kennedy's death, and Lyndon Johnson's Vietnam policy following the assassination.
