Liz Flores (@LizFlores81) is a Chicago based self-taught artist writing and creating out of her West Loop studio. She is an avid traveler, which has fueled the inspiration for her intricate line work and patterns. Flores's art is a form of storytelling, with each work inspired by a unique experience that she shares on her blog and social channels. She works primarily with acrylic paint on canvas and ink on mixed media paper.

She's shared her story of leaving her corporate environment to pursue a creative life in her TEDx talk, and has participated in a number of group shows around the Chicago land area as well as dived into the world of interactive art,

becoming a contributing artist for The World We Want art movement.

When she's not in her studio experimenting, you might find her running through the international terminal at ORD, or walking her Blue Heeler Indie.
