In this week's episode I am joined by maternal mental health therapist, Anese Barnett. Anese is a former NICU mama with a healthy and amazing baby boy. Anese works with mothers who have NICU babies and high risk pregnancies. Anese is passionate about maternal mental health and teaching mothers how to prioritize their health in order to be happy mothers with happy children. Anese loves meeting new people and speaking to guests about the maternal mental health crisis we face in our communities. Her overall goal is to fill the gap and push organizations to consider the importance of addressing a mother's mental health before and after having her baby.
