A couple of weeks ago Thornhill Trojans came up with a brilliant idea to support their local NHS. Dave chatted to new coach Danny Ratcliffe about this, technology, his extensive family connections with the Trojans, how his team is developing, and how he rekindled his love of Rugby League.

Vice-chair Steve Dillon joins Dave to chat about his involvement, the club's history and mutual respect with Haydock, the exciting developments at Vicarage Lane, and opportunities they could provide and raise money for the local hospital.

Dave is joined by chairman Frank Bradshaw and secretary John Bradbury to find out more about the club's history, some of the cup runs they have enjoyed and players that have made an impression down the years. There is movie talk, an interesting club trophy that gets awarded and an unexpected friendship with another club.

Our next stop sees Dave chat with Garswood Stags Jonathan Logan about the humble beginnings of the club in a local pub, some of the famous names involved, creating a shirt to raise funds for the NHS, linking with the established football club and that all-important question: whether Garswood is in Wigan or St Helens?

Dave chats to Paul Elliott about life with Cadishead Rhinos, how the club is developing on and off the field, young players and future plans.
