The Christian faith is a joyous faith because believers have Christ with them. The presence of Jesus Christ in one's life brings tremendous joy as they feast upon the love of their bridegroom. However, the self-righteous Pharisees of this world lack joy as they try to contain the uncontainable grace of Christ within their old fabric of legalism.
