He’s 13 and more raised by his mother — his parents are divorced. They don’t agree with him, and his mom’s concerned about his political opinions. He doesn’t believe in white privilege and just sees racism and sexism are just ideas to control people. His parents want him to be more liberal, to believe in racism, etc., even though it doesn’t exist. His parents call themselves conservative, but he’s starting to question it.
