After more than 50 years together, the Rolling Stones remain one of the biggest live acts in the world. And for bassist Darryl Jones, his audition in 1993 led to a steady gig, touring and playing on just about everything they have recorded since. Jones, who spent most of the ’80s as the go-to bassist for the likes of Sting and Madonna, started his career on the South Side of Chicago and actually cut his teeth with Miles Davis.
