Throughout my years of dieting and disordered eating I feared being hungry. I was programmed to believe when I was hungry, I wouldn’t be able to control myself around food, I would spiral out of control. It was instilled in me I had to eat certain foods and certain times, no matter what. I had no trust in my body. No faith in the ability to listen to what my body needed.
