Oakdale was formally established 1996, and is one of the younger, smaller, and more up and coming neighborhoods in Grand Rapids. This community is family oriented, having been based around the over 100 year old Oakdale Park First Christian Reformed Church that resides there. Families of all ages and sizes can appreciate the ample outdoor space between nearby Mulick Park and Dickinson Buffer Park.
