1349: What Was First: Stiff Records

Listen Later

Patrick delivers a bite-size history lesson by exploring the very first release on iconic record labels. Today, Stiff Records is under the spotlight.

The label was formed by Dave Robinson and Jake Riviera in 1976 and in August of that year "So It Goes" with  "Heart Of The City" on the b-side became the first Stiff record. It was given the catalogue number BUY 1.

Hit play and find out how it all came to pass.
