"I created this piece in September 2020, still in the midst of the pandemic. This year has felt like a never-ending uphill battle, and when adversity strikes this hard it's easy to give up on one's dreams. John's story has helped me to keep focused on bleak times, and my hope is that it does the same for others. 

Every moment is a gift and every experience is a lesson. Take life in slowly, pay attention to the details, and assume positive intent so that you can get the most out of what it gives to you."
