On August 30, 2022, 10-year-old Na’Mylah Turner-Moore was reported missing from Saginaw, Michigan and her 14-year-old stepbrother Jameion Peterson has been charged as an adult on suspicion of her murder; on August 28, 2022, a 51-year-old man was found shot and stabbed to death in his home in Orting, Washington, and two 16-year-olds have been charged as adults on suspicion of his murder: Justin Yoon and Gabriel Davies, who himself had been reported missing just prior to his arrest; and in 1991, 5 members of one family went missing and were eventually found murdered, with 15-year-old Bruce Brenizer arrested and prosecuted for the crimes.
