Jessica Taylor is a 23-year old actor, and singer-songwriter from Vancouver, B.C, Canada. Originally from Little Lepreau, New Brunswick, Jessica moved to the opposite coast to attend Simon Fraser University’s BFA Theatre Performance Program. She loves to sing, song write and play instruments (guitar, ukulele, piano) and is currently aiming to become a successful working actor in film and television. This podcast marks the first time Jessica has ever shared her written and performed songs publicly.

A statement from Jessica:

"This song was originally created out of my mental health struggles during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lately I have been in a constant fluctuation between being in anxious-denial, and feeling that there will never be an end to this. This song is a reminder that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. We’ve all faced challenges in our lives, and we have all overcome them, therefore we will overcome this too. Positivity is not innate, it is worked for - every single day, and every single minute. Sometimes we just need that reminder to stop searching for everything that is going wrong and look around for something that is going right. We are not alone. Together we can not only beat this, but we can thrive and become better, more kind, and more compassionate people!"
