Paul Johnson will be recognised by a few investors who trade on the AIM.  He has been investing in the UK financial markets since 18 years of age (30+ years) and the Alternative Investment Market (“AIM”) for 20 years or so.

I can feel the sentiment and it’s dire in the resource space right now and that delays price recoveries – though sentiment can change in a few days in our sector.

The junior resource stocks have been pummelled in recent months and sentiment has dropped to one of the lowest levels I have experienced. That’s key as sentiment is one of the biggest drivers behind stock prices.

The level of negativity is scary in one sense but highly positive in another. As Rick Rule from Sprott has said, bear markets are the authors of bull markets and from my sense of the sentiment barometer, things are so desperate we are not too far away from a swing back into a bull resources phase.
