In this podcast I interview two elementary school teacher's Laura Wiebe (@learningwithl) and Sarah McChesney (@magicalmomentsiwthmissm).
This podcast dives into the many benefits of reading, reviews some relevant research on this topic and discusses Laura and Sarah's initiative called "Reading for Rupert" which is a free educational resource for parents and their children to utilize during COVID-19. We end off the podcast with a discussion of a few of our favourite children's books that target goals from inclusivity to more specific SLP goals such as prepositions and phonemic targets.
