And what a joy it was to be joined by a man who played in a band with David Bowie, co-founded the newspaper The Voice, wrote Too Close To Heaven (a seminal history of gospel music), and as CEO and owner of the Premises Studio has guided the space through an ever changing socio-political and economic landscape - firmly establishing it as one of London's most cherished working studios and multi-purpose artistic spaces.
