Julia Schuehle is the field-marketing and media coordinator with Canine Companions, a national nonprofit organization. Canine Companions has a field office in Seattle, which makes it easier for persons locally, who need a canine support companion, to receive them and have the training. It also means it's easy for any of us to volunteer - for example as a puppy raiser; another very important part is financial support, so more service dogs can help a growing waiting list.
