He is widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable and prolific chroniclers of comics history, both on his own blog, News From ME, and in the definitive Jack Kirby biography, Kirby: King of Comics. He also manages the legacy of Walt Kelly's Pogo in Fantagraphics' The Complete Syndicated Comics Strips collections.
