I wanted to reflect back to you guys about my first month back in the classroom after being out of the classroom for three years. This month’s theme: Reset, Reflect, and Reconnect. I know how busy September can be and how much busier October can get. I want to make sure each and every one of you is able to reset, reflect, and reconnect. 

• Reflection #1:  the transition back into the classroom was NOT easy and smooth like I was imagining it to be.
• Reflection #2: even when things don’t go well, that doesn’t mean you should just forget about all the work you’ve put in
• Reflection #3: Planning is what makes the classroom a less chaotic space at the start of the school year (and I don’t necessarily mean lesson planning)
• Reflection #4: always creating space for rest
