Today Jessie Watts joins us on the Dangerous Creatives Podcast. She is a photographer, multi-passionate creative, and mental wellness advocate. After a breakup in 2021, Jessie found herself experiencing burnout and struggling with her mental health which led her to "a year of yes" where she leaned into her intuition and began her healing journey. On this episode, Kristin and Jessie dive into the art of rest and what that may look like when you're experiencing burnout. You should never feel guilty for taking a step back when needed. Jessie describes how rest and different healing practices allowed her to come back as a better photographer and creative person overall.

Jessie Watts is a photographer and mental wellness advocate based in Nashville, TN. She has traveled extensively throughout the country for her work (and will happily travel anywhere she's invited!). Jessie specializes in lifestyle, branding, and elopement photography, and is always, always aiming to capture the beauty and authenticity of a moment. With a keen eye for detail and a love of adventure, Jessie has shot in some of the most stunning locations across the country, from the rugged coastlines of Oregon to the high desert of New Mexico. Jessie enjoys putting clients at ease, making them feel good in their skin, and making a little magic.  When she's not behind the camera, you can hear her doing voice over work or hollering at any dog who might be in need of some pets.
