We examine one of the songs of Asaph found in the book of Psalms and learn how he struggled with and overcame the sin of envy. Asaph was a priest, prophet, and choir director for King David and Solomon, but when he compared his life with those the Scriptures deemed "wicked", he found himself envious of their prosperity. Why hadn't God judged them? Why did those who lived without God have great health and wealth? Why was he going without? Was the righteous life worth the sacrifice? These are questions every Christian struggles with. Join us to learn how Asaph overcame the sin of envy and rekindled his trust in God.
