In this episode, my dear friend Abigail Manning shared her amazing story and I'm just in awe of all she's done. When I met this incredible woman, I knew this was somebody that I wanted to stay in my life. We talk more in this episode about how taking all the things we’ve learned, the hard way, and helping people learn the easier way. Also, how to help people identify different traits, challenges and/or characteristics about themselves. And so much more!
Abigail Manning, Founder of Create Awareness...Change Lives, Inc., is an innovative voice in enhancing personal and professional wellbeing. Through international workshops, keynotes, and retreats, she delivers programs to the military, veteran non-profit and Leasership in corporate America. Abigail combines an Indiana University majors with focus on Cognitive, Social and Behavioral theories, extensive studies in mental health, research in a wide range of healing modalities, and resiliency skills learned from overcoming childhood abuse, domestic violence, and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). (I think you can skip this part) Her unique content prevents toxic culture including unhealthy behaviors, sexual harassment, and the Adverse Spiral (stress, limiting thoughts, depression, addiction, abuse, PTS, and suicide) and builds life skills to create empowered people and prosperous cultures. Abigail is an outdoor sports enthusiast who lives in Denver, Colorado and is a proud mom of U.S. Marines, daughter and son, and has a heart-felt passion for serving others.
“When you believe in yourself, start thinking big. And then when you think big, think even bigger. Because there are so many brilliant people in this world who are playing small, including myself, I still struggle with believing in myself. And so it's a daily work. It's a daily practice. It's a daily belief. There's so many things that want to take us down and we have to stay strong. So everyone out there, you're strong, keep believing in yourself and go for something even bigger than what you're already doing.” – Abigail Manning
