The second part in an imaginative, alliterative story tour of some of our favorite letters in fun combinations of exciting words....and sometimes a little backstory on why they are spelled not-quite-how-we-would-think! Language is versatile and also changes over time! 

Those brightly colored fruits and veggies are grabbing our attention in this episode!! We talk about our bodies as beautiful trees that have a lot of needs....and those sometimes overlooked foods that often get a bad rap in some children's literature- and give them the story they deserve!!! That plus a Gilbert and Sullivan patter food song and some recipes to get creative with eating veggies!!

Glad to be back! In this episode we begin a new series on letters and sounds to explore! Even if you're a reader, you'll still enjoy finding the sounds of alliteration and assonance, as well as the meanings of certain parts of words!
In our family, we are VERY interested in Pokemon, so those characters definitely make an appearance! 

Camping is so fun, whether you go for real or just pretend! We talk about some jobs we might have while camping, we sing a song about what to pack (our take on Down by the Bay) and we even tell a scary(ish) story about gathering wood and wild animals! This week we get an episode about snow and how magical it is! Ms. Lauren sings us a snowflake song, and we even get a story about Sled Dogs! What more could you want?! I guess snow...if you don't have any.

At long last after much illness, this weeks episode on the depths of the oceans is out! We get to go to a volcanic barbecue in our story, and sing a song about anglerfish, plus, learn cool things as we delve very deep into the ocean. 

In this weeks episode, we explore the world of creepy crawlies/bugs/worms and just in time for Halloween! Some people are fascinated by bugs and crawlies and for some it makes our skin....crawl! But we can all appreciate these fiends, sing along with a spider-song and find comfort in connecting with nature.
