This week, in anticipation of The Boy and The Heron next week, we review a Studio Ghibli classic - Spirited Away! Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, Spirited Away is a Japanese animated fantasy film. It follows the story of Chihiro, a girl who inadvertently enters the spirit realm and loses her parents there. She must take a job at a bathhouse for the spirits in order to find a way to free both herself and her parents. This film is widely thought to be one of the greatest films of all time, and for good reason. It is a thoughtfully crafted movie with stunning visuals... But Is Spirited Away Good?
