This week I’m featuring Los Angeles-based Jangus Kangus, a self-described “encyclopedic songbook of popular music and a bonanza of broken hearts, raw nerves, and prickly, jangly, playfully eclectic guitar-pop.” I originally planned to showcase “Honeymooners in Venice” but called a last minute audible and went with “Double Lives.” You can check out both songs on their 2025 album Fortune Cookie.
