It stayed certain provisions of the Waqf (Amendment) Act 2025, pausing clauses on Waqf creation, encroachment adjudication and Collector powers, while upholding registration rules and limiting non-Muslim representation.

In Bihar, the court warned it could cancel the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls if any illegality is found. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said U.S tariffs have caused Rs 25,000 crore losses to Andhra’s shrimp exports, urging the Centre’s support for its farmers.
