Today, I’m joined by Claire who’s chosen to talk about the witch trials which took place in Scotland between 1590 and 1727 and why there is a campaign now to have those women and men who were executed for witchcraft to be officially pardoned by the government. Claire is an English educator and runs The Edinburgh Experience. She specialises in using Scottish culture as a vehicle for people to connect with and learn English. She runs cultural immersion programs every summer and also a new “Tours with Tots” program for parents where they can use their brains (!) and learn about Scottish history while meeting other new parents.
