Lauren Najar is a business coach who helps online coaches and service providers start and scale their businesses through simple sales strategies. She has a heavy sales background working in the banking and financial services industry where she worked with small businesses and coached her employees on how to have effective sales conversations. And she now uses that knowledge to help people go from a 9-5 hustle to a successful service based business. She was diagnosed with cancer not once, but twice in her early twenties. By overcoming those challenges, she lives out her perspective that there is so much more to life than to be like everyone else; wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner and go to bed.
Her big mistake she made starting/scaling her business: Not dropping her ego.
In this episode, we talk about the vitality of admitting you need help in your business. It is a great thing to have independence in your business, but when you’re overwhelming yourself from that mindset and refuse to drop your ego to admit you don’t know everything, it can take a very negative toll in hindering the growth of your business. You won’t ever know everything in your business, and seeking advice from someone on the outside—especially once you’ve seen success—is one of the best things you can do to grow your business and see more success.
