The pose is an American drama television series about New York City's African-American and Latino LGBTQ scene in the 1980s and early 90s.   Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals, This story revolves around the lives of 5 transgender women named Electra, Blanca, Candy, Lulu, and Angel…fighting their own battles to establish their respective names in the underworld ball culture along with supporting each other through the ups and downs of life.   

Though two years old, this show does ring a bell and takes you back to those times when people infected with HIV were treated like monsters and how the LGBTQ community was majorly impacted by it.   If you love high drama, Madonna, pop culture with a subtle shade of realty and learning,  this show is a good watch.   The first season received numerous award nominations including the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama
