Thanksgiving is behind us, Christmas is in front of us and there is a whole lot of livin’ that needs to happen in between. As your trainer, we are making the most of our weeks to set ourselves up for success. Tune in as I discuss some key tips to handle the Sunday Scaries as well as share my Delray beach adventures involving Magic Mike and my plans for getting a new dog in spring. Spoiler alert: it’s going to be a girl dog and I already have the name picked out!

3 Tips to help you conquer the Sunday Scaries include:

  • Investigate where your anxiety comes from. Anticipatory anxiety, anxiety about something that hasn’t happened yet, is common. You need to determine what is causing you to feel this way. Do some journaling- get to the bottom of it. Then try some small tactical tips to reduce those Sunday Scaries.
  • Eat the frog- do something you are dreading first thing and get it out of the way! As clams, we always make our bed first thing in the morning. No one dreads this but now you’ve accomplished something right off the bat and can start checking other items off of your list.
  • Make Sundays Fundays. Go do something that brings you joy and this day will no longer be one you dread. I love catching a Panthers game, going golfing, and getting a good workout in!
