Yah girl has been on the go and because of that, she’s got NODES! Yes, just like in Pitch Perfect. UGH! I hate this so much for me because I am supposed to take time off from using my voice! This will be hard for me during the workouts but I HAVE to be diligent so that it can get better. So, let’s see how this goes. Thank you for sending all the love my way as I had to process the thought of being QUIET! It can always be worse. Also, who knew your throat looked so sexual!
Two ways podcasts can become successful. One: Advertisements where corporations pay you to share more about them. Two: Drive business to your other business to create more revenue and interaction. I want to bring more amazing people to BodyByTrainor, so I am going to share a few testimonials from incredible women who have utilized our workouts together to shift their negative energy to something positive!
Stay present during our workouts. Eliminate distractions. You deserve that time for YOU! Toss the tank. Learn to love the reflection in the mirror. Some day’s will be harder than others but work hard to make the positive voice louder than the negative. Crave the endorphins you feel when you workout. Muscle weighs more than fat. Muscle gains are what we love!
Covid gave me an outlet to inspire people, in a big way! BodyByTrainor is such a powerful force in my life. I am able to use my gift of being a motivator to help and touch others. Use these workouts to connect with loved ones. Use these workouts to lift your spirits. Use these workouts to become more confident! Remember, YOU have the ability to choose your attitude every day! Choose to show up in a joyful way.

Just a heads up, this isn’t your usual Talks with you Trainor episode. There are many tears shared with a few giggles, naturally because sometimes there is humor even in the darkest moments. I am not sure how I got through this episode, but I am glad I did. It was, in a sense, cathartic. My dearest friend, Rusty took his life yesterday. I am devastated and at a severe loss for words. I was just with him 2 weeks ago and we were texting 2 days prior. I do not understand and I know I never will. Remember, everyone is fighting something. Be a kind person to others, you never know how much your positivity can impact their day. If you are fighting something please give yourself grace.
Rusty was always there for me and he will always be with me.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with mental, please seek professional help. There are so many people out there who can help. Medicine can help. Don’t feel ashamed. It does not make you weak, in fact it shows great strength to seek help.
Thank you so much for being there with me as I try to process this unimaginable thing. As always, this community has provided so much strength during some of my darkest days. I thank you with all my heart. Please don’t give up.

Born and raised in Shelby NC, Alissa pace has been a nurse practitioner for 17 years, practicing in aesthetics for well over a decade. She has a passion for regenerative aesthetics that led to groundbreaking research in the field, comparing amnion allograft and platelet rich plasma injections in the face. The research was accepted and published in aesthetic plastic surgery journal. She holds a trademark patent and a patent for the technique used in the research. She continues to perform regenerative aesthetic services under her brand Ariasa, as well as inject for SkinSpirit both located in Charlotte NC.
Alissa married a charlotte native and is a mom to a 19 month old boy Nolan, a 5lb yorkie Shelby, and a 145 lb mastiff Moses. She is a Shania Twain tribute artist which combines her love of performing and Shania. Proud to be one of the OG clams Meghan kicking my butt since 2020!

In this episode I share my morning of surgery day with you, how I got there and how I got home. We talk about the thought process I had with what size to choose and how important of a decision that was for me. Being an active person, I needed a size that would still allow me to do all the things I love. I am proud of the decision I made to do this for my 40-year-old self and I will continue to always strive to be the best version of myself. I can’t wait to be fully recovered and back to working out with the BBT community again!
Dr. Capizzi answers so many great questions the BBT community sent my way. I hope it helps anyone listening if they are deciding to take this journey. I am grateful to have chosen such a wonderful practice and team of people who looked out for my best interest. I was nervous, anxious and so dang excited! I can’t wait to celebrate this addition with all of you. If there is something you want to do that will make YOU feel more confident, I am all for it.
