Allan Showery was arrested for mercilessly stabbing a 48 year-old woman to death in her apartment, pouring accelerant over her body and lighting her on fire in a botched attempt at concealing the crime. His accuser was the dead woman herself, speaking through the lips of a possessed woman with no previous history of clairvoyance.

And, no, this didn’t occur in England during the Dark Ages, it happened in Chicago in 1978 .
