Venture through the creaking door if you dare. In this episode, JR relates the batsh*t beliefs of a devoted mother who loved her children to a fault.
Welcome to northern Italy, 1939. Under the fascist stylings of Mussolini, the nation teeters on the brink of war. Leonarda Cianciulli is a humble widow determined to keep her children safe from the horrors of conflict, inflation, bad luck, indigestion and a million other enemies - small and large - anything which threatens to harm her loin’s most magnificent discharges.
Cianciulli has devised a divine plan to cleanse the evil from her midst. Using (dark) arts and crafts, lye, distilled water, an ax, an unhealthy dollop of OCD, and a belief system doing some massive heavy lifting, Cianciulli has almost everything she needs. She's missing one ingredient, but it's nothing she can’t borrow from her neighbors.
Join us by the fire for potent drinks filled with tiny umbrellas and a cannabis combo platter that will keep you tripping over your own tongue, as JR comes clean with the crew about Leonarda Cianciulli, the Soap Maker of Correggio - or Bubbles, if you’re nasty.
