On episode 161 I am delighted to be joined by Niall McDermott & Tony McGaharan two of the co-founders of The Courtside Collective. Tony and Niall set up the brand after Streetball Ireland online forums and with the help of many contributors grew a website, social media pages and a podcast covering Irish basketball.

Not only that, the pair managed to get on to the NBA press mailing lists and interviewed huge NBA names and legends. Including a trip to London to interview Team USA prior to the London 2012 Olympics.

A long and winding episode detailing not only The Courtside Collective, but their personal journeys in basketball (including Niall's 10 jobs) and the evolution of the Irish basketball media space.
