How does it feel when someone resigns?If you’re anything like Loz and Em then it will feel awful, sad, and upsetting 😔They invest so much in their team, culture and environment, commercially, physically, mentally and emotionally!Caring about your people is super important, they’re HUMAN BEINGS with lives, successes and challenges…Being there to support them through the challenges, celebrate their successes and achievements and caring about them is VITAL 🙌🏻It does help with performance, culture, retention and recruitment too, BUT…It doesn’t stop people leaving for personal reasons, which is very sad!As business owners, we don’t really talk about resignations as we feel embarrassed, and as though we’ve failed, and that people will think we’re awful bosses or have a terrible company! 😬THIS IS NOT THE CASE!It even happens to Steven Bartlett, and he feels emotional too!Today’s pod is all about dealing with this very sad situation and that it’s absolutely okay for it to happen, we’ve got you! 💗
