This week we finally come back to our Origins series and Hudson talks about the most powerful Native American tribe in American history, the Comanche. The Comanche commanded the Great Plains, conquering from horseback both man and bison. They brought European empires to a standstill, terrorized Mexico, brutalized the American West, and traded horse herds so large they impacted the global economy. The Comanche were feared for their violence which was reciprocated mainly by the Texas Rangers, who were founded to combat the Comanche raiders. The Comanche are embedded in American history and responsible for the evening redness of the west.

This episode is sponsored by TEG Farms. One of our good friends and former podcast guests Noah Edwards is selling beef from their farm in SW Oklahoma. Their cows are grass-fed on a beautiful farm without herbicides or pesticides on their pastures. Then they are grain finished on a pasture with free choice of grain. This gives them an incredible taste and wonderful marbling without the traditional feedlot atmosphere. The beef is butchered in a USDA inspected facility and it is unbelievably good. Visit their website TEGfarms.com Text Noah at (405) 200-5127 for pricing and availability.
