The nursing shortage is worsening. After Covid-19 deadly spread killed nearly 900 people and infected nearly 100,000 residents, it also caused a substantial loss of nurses and health care workers, who worked through life-threatening conditions with inadequate supplies and staffing for much of the pandemic.

My guest is Rick Lucas, the Director of the Ohio Nurses Association, serving as the voice of more than 160,000 registered nurses, to protect them, their patients and communities.
