A Statement from Ahnecia: 

"Over the summer I spent a lot of time reflecting on my life, but then just life itself in general. It's easy to become comfortable in the dark and the sad part is that you won't even realize it because of how normalized it becomes. I'm on a personal journey of growth but there has to be boundaries and confrontational rules set in place in order for that to happen. Letting go of people who use me, having a new outlook, being ambitious even if I might seem crazy but my goal in life is to be content so it starts there. Change will never be comfortable but it'll all be worth it in the end. I made this song because hearing my voice sing back to me about my journey, does something. It reminds me to keep on pushing and look at all the progress I've made."
