Chapter 31: Of the State of Man after Death, and of the Resurrection of the Dead. This chapter affirms the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment of all people. It also describes the different states of the righteous and the wicked after death and at the resurrection.
Chapter 32: Of the Last Judgment. This chapter asserts the certainty, universality, and righteousness of the last judgment, which will be conducted by Christ as the judge of the world. It also explains the purpose, manner, and consequences of the judgment, as well as the effects it will have on the glory of God and the happiness of his people.
