#17 Blame VS Responsibility

Blaming is a waste of time.

Like serious – what do you achieve? You damage your motivation and drive in your journey to change your habits. It makes you negative.

What we need to start doing is taking responsibility for what has happened and then make a plan to start changing.

 

What does taking responsibility look like?

Acknowledging whats happened.

Evaluate why it happened. Was I just unprepared? Did I just feel super hungry? Had I been restricting myself too much? Was I emotional over something – refer to emotional eating podcast

And then make an action plan moving forward:

  • What can you do to get your diet back on track?
  • What can you do to overcome the situations that pushed you into doing what you did?
  • What can you do to prevent that situation again?
