Tanya Carne proves that persistence pays off as she has had her dance studio DANCE ACTION for 31 years (and counting). Tanya is very passionate about supporting boys in dance but this didn't just come about recently with the #boysdancetoo movement. She is a pioneer in the gender inclusiveness space when it comes to dance and has been developing a boys dance program called - B Street Crew over the past 14 years. Tanya finally (and excitedly) released her program baby to the public in 2020, which is an amazing effort during the pandemic. Tanya wears many hats including being the founder and Director of CONNECT, which is a boys dance event which has been running for over 5 years. This event is a celebration of dance and boys, coming together to share their passion in a safe and energetic space.
