#17: Brainstorming Content Topics Your Audience Craves

Listen Later

Hey all,

A quite unusual day here on the Content Love podcast! This is the second episode of the two that I’m releasing today.

Here’s the reason behind it: I’ve recently held my first ever public talk at the Pint-Sized Marketing Meetup here in Dublin, and I felt super fortunate to speak about content marketing to a room full of really smart marketers. For this week’s podcast edition, I decided to take what I’ve spoken of and split it into parts.

Now, the session had three parts. It was a relatively short session (12 minutes or so), and the title was ‘3 easy steps for better results with content marketing (for real)‘. Of the three parts, one is something I’ve already spoken of on the podcast—it’s the efficient content creation process—so to avoid any repetition, I’ve decided to talk about the other two parts and give them an episode each.

So here we are! Part one (episode 16) is all about setting goals for your content. It includes simple enough, small and actionable steps you can get started working on right away.

Part two (this episode!) is all about finding topics your audience craves and can’t wait to read, listen, or watch. I talk about easy ways and strategies to dive deeper into your main topics and find what your audience genuinely cares about.

The shownotes are organized slightly differently today—you can simply go ahead and listen in, and find related episodes and resources below. Thanks so much for being here!
