On 24 August 2010, in battle in Afghanistan, Army Corporal Daniel Keighran risked his life in a hail of gunfire to save his fellow soldiers. His actions saw him awarded the Victoria Cross. Australia's highest award for bravery. This is the story of that days gun fight and battle as well as a reminder to all, of the sacrifice of those serving in the military and their families.
