This week's guest is Mark from Senso Minds. We discuss all things sensory! Although sensory processing disorder is not an official medical diagnosis a lot of children with special needs struggle in the sensory department. They could be hypersensitive or hyposensitive or potentially both at different times. Although I do refer to sensory processing challenges as "Sensory Processing Disorder" at times during the episode as I mentioned above, it is not an official medical diagnosis. That being said, if you are concerned about this then an Occupational Therapist (OT) would definitely be the expert in this area so it may be helpful to seek guidance and find out more information from an OT.

This podcast dives into some signs or symptoms of sensory processing challenges and what exactly sensory processing challenges means. We also discuss the mission behind Senso Minds, some of the products they have available and I review the popular topic of chewlery.
