If you haven't noticed, there's a touch of civil unrest going around. Protests, riots, looting, marching, CHAZ-ing, and so on. The tragic murder of George Floyd has sparked an upset like this generation has never before seen in our country. Now, the outcry that began in the big cities is trickling down to even the small rural towns, such as our own.
Today's episode is our conversation with local high school students, Zoe Nevels & Iliawna Hook, who decided it was time for our small town of Aledo, IL to get involved with this movement. They are using their liberties to organized a peaceful protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement to help show the local community that this isn't just someone else's problem, it's OUR problem.

Find out all that and much more on today's episode of The System is Down episode 171: #BlackLivesMatter w. Local Protest Organizers, Zoe Nevels & Iliawna Hook.
