This episode's guest is Joel Dill, the President of Roberts Excavation Corp. Joel spent years in the oil and gas industry and his previous company went on a spree of acquisitions that took the market cap from $400 mill to $4 billion in one year!

This episode we discuss his oil and gas career and the lessons he learned working in the different functions over the years. Joel spent time in engineering, production, operations, facilities, and wore a bunch of different hats. 

Then we dive into a recent acquisition he made of a small business in his town. He bought a building that had a laundry mat included. We talk about how he did the evaluation and what some of the other start-up ideas he's explored.

Lastly, we discuss his new role as the President of a heavy excavation business, and how Joel and his team are planning to grow the company.
